A Deeper Freedom Rising Above Circumstance to Live Your Vision
A definition of Freedom it goes something like this:
1. the state of being free or at liberty rather than in confinement or under physical restraint.
2. exemption from external control, interference, regulation, etc.
3. the power to determine action without restraint.
We are incredibly fortunate to have our freedom politically-to be able to express ourselves and make all kinds of choices about how to live our lives...

Many people would easily choose to take a physical risk- like a Black Diamond ski run or parachuting. But often it's a different kind of risk that really challenges us towards our fulfillment.

We all remember a time that we were in the midst of a new beginning. We stood on new territory, not entirely sure how to navigate from where we were, to where we wanted to be. We wished for any kind of guidance, to be saved from a few common mistakes, or yearned to simply have a conversation with a person of influence, who could see our gifts. At that time, we sat in a cocktail of fear, excitement, uncertainty and motivation, with all our hopes and dreams brimming over the edge.

When Perfection is a Mistake Redefine it. Reclaim energy.
If you have been a subscriber for a while (or even 2 weeks) you know without a doubt that I’m human. I’m absolutely not error-free. Though I wish at times I didn’t have public “Oops” moments, it is just part of putting myself and passions out there...I’m bound to flub up now and then.
As I write this I realize the problem is not necessarily the idea of perfection, rather how we define it.

Recently I watched the movie, Man On Wire - a fascinating story about a man, Phillippe Petit, who is wild about pushing boundaries, as well as exploring the remarkable blend of risk and art. In August 1974 he tightrope walked (danced really) between the twin towers of the World Trade Center, some 1,300 ft off the ground.
Amazing? Outrageous? Or slightly insane? I suspect it's somewhere in between, as often is the case when one taps into their passion. Historically we may not realize someo...

What's Your Impact On Others? Do You leave people better or worse than you found them?
It occurs to me that on any given day we have the opportunity to make an impact on others, from moment to moment. Whether at the grocery store, the bank, with clients, family and friends, we create an experience with every exchange we make. Do your exchanges leave people better afterward?
When I first moved to Denver I worked at Whole Foods Market in Cherry Creek for a couple years. One Thanksgiving sea...

Growth- Break Through to Your Potential--Dec 03 Part One
Growth Reaching down to the depths of the soul, growth challenges us to expand. Perhaps it is the leap of faith for a new career opportunity, home, city or relationship. Perhaps it is the closing of one door and the opening of another. Growth stretches us to our limits, at times more than we feel capable. Growth can be exciting, scary, painful, uplifting or sad. It can appear as loss or as a powerful addition to your life.

Motivation: Inspiration vs. Fear
In motivation there are a couple schools of thought — Inspiration/ Benefits: “I know that ‘blah blah blah’ is good for me and will cause me to feel x, y and z so I will do it.” We see a possibility, the possibility gets us excited for what might be in our lives and voila- we're in action! Maybe you meet a person or see a show or attend a class and it gets you in motion. These are all examples of motivation through inspiration.

Go For It!The time is now!
We all have a little seed inside, a seed of inspiration. Perhaps we were born with it or maybe it showed up later in life. It's that thing that lights a fire in your belly when you think about the possibility of it. When you imagine that it might happen in your life, you can't help but smile and feel a flutter of excitement.
What are you waiting for?
Though everything is about choices and timing, if not now, when? (However, it is possible that dreaming ...
