How Much can I Enjoy This Moment?

Posted by Robin Berg on Tuesday, November 22, 2011, In : Present Focus

As I was walking my dogs just now I got to wondering, “How much can I enjoy this moment?  How much can I delight in what I’m doing right now and be no where else but here?”   I got to thinking how I know one day soon I will yearn for this kind of beautiful afternoon.  One day I will yearn for the jingling of two collars as we stroll along with the occasional yank.  One day I will yearn to have access to the peace that I have access to now.  And so in this moment I choose to be all here,...

Underestimating Attitude
You have probably heard, more times than you’d like, “attitude is everything”. And though it may not be everything, it has a huge impact on your life and the world around you. If you see the world as an awful place, it is. If you see the world as a beautiful and hopeful place, it is.

A Fulfilling Life: A Fully Present Moment

It always seems that when I reach middle of the month I have repeated moments of shock—about how I cannot believe that the month is already half over.  There’s a sense of sadness in a way, that time is flying by, and that I want to slow things down, enjoy more, experience more great moments, and instead feel a sense of contentment when it is the 15th—as though there’s nothing I would change.

This morning I went outside for my morning ritu...

About Robin

Robin Berg Like you, I’m on a journey. I’m passionate about learning and strive to transform life’s challenges into learning, so that I can evolve (sometimes ever-so-slowly) into the best version of myself. Like anyone, I’ve had my struggles, be it healing memories from the past, navigating health issues that folded into fertility issues or having a son who has an autoimmune “disorder”(?) and the constant vigilance that requires. And all that I’ve learned I’m devoted to sharing…so that maybe some little tool, or a nugget of insight, or hope might support you in your journey to know your Self, your Soul and step into a life of feeling guided. I always say I “accidentally became spiritual” through practicing yoga. It’s true— it opened something in me that I didn’t know was there and caused me to see things I was formerly completely unaware of. I like it much better. So, for the ups and downs, the glimmers of things useful, I’m open to sharing. Feel free to let me know if something speaks to you. *Note: These past several years I’ve been focused on life as a Mama while maintaining thriving cozy coaching practice. Now, in 2020 I’m gearing up to start sharing and expanding again. Meanwhile feel free to check out posts on instagram @RobinPBerg and Facebook https://www.facebook.com/SoulMoxie/.
