Ease the Stress of Transition
Using Yoga Insights to Navigate Challenging Times

The transition from Summer into Fall seems a tough time for many people.  Loads of people are scrambling to get in the last hoorah of summer while reorganizing Fall schedules, school clothes, sporting events, etc.  Kids start kindergarten or head off to college.  A lot of frazzle and stress potential--it is a surge of activity (and emotion), that for some, threatens a tipping point unless managed with awarenes...

How Free ARE You?

A Deeper Freedom
Rising Above Circumstance to Live Your Vision

A definition of Freedom it goes something like this:

1. the state of being free or at liberty rather than in confinement or under physical restraint.

2. exemption from external control, interference, regulation, etc.

3. the power to determine action without restraint.

We are incredibly fortunate to have our freedom politically-to be able to express ourselves and make all kinds of choices about how to live our lives...

Passion: Between Brilliance and The Outrageus

Posted by Robin Berg on Wednesday, December 22, 2010, In : Motivation

Recently I watched the movie, Man On Wire - a fascinating story about a man, Phillippe Petit, who is wild about pushing boundaries, as well as exploring the remarkable blend of risk and art.  In August 1974 he tightrope walked (danced really) between the twin towers of the World Trade Center, some 1,300 ft off the ground.

Amazing? Outrageous? Or slightly insane?  I suspect it's somewhere in between, as often is the case when one taps into their passion.  Historically we may not realize someo...

Hello there!

Today I'm sharing Five Reasons We Procrastinate Fulfillment.

Was there a time in your life (like maybe now) that you yearned for something, or had something in mind that you really wanted to have, be or create?

In fact maybe you've had it for a long time OR perhaps you don't actually know what "it" is yet, but you know there's something calling to you f...

Go For It! The time is now

Posted by Robin Berg on Monday, July 26, 2010, In : Motivation

Go For It!  The time is now!

We all have a little seed inside, a seed of inspiration.  Perhaps we were born with it or maybe it showed up later in life.  It's that thing that lights a fire in your belly when you think about the possibility of it.  When you imagine that it might happen in your life, you can't help but smile and feel a flutter of excitement.

What are you waiting for?

Though everything is about choices and timing, if not now, when?  (However, it is possible that dreaming ...

Belief vs. Believe-- Dec 2002 Part 3

Belief vs. Believe
December 2002- part 3

We all have different driving forces and motivators in our lives.

Many of our driving forces, whether recognition, accomplishment, service, abundance, can be traced back to our belief systems and what we learned to be important.

What are your beliefs?
Often we aren't even aware of a majority of our “life shaping” beliefs? For example what do you believe about wealth, stability, travel, adventure, tradition, parenting, hard work, poverty, politics?  ...

Your True Self: Finding Your Path
October 2002

Do You? . . .
Ever catch yourself saying what you think another person wants to hear rather than what you believe? Ever wear particular clothing because you feel you “should” and it is what others might expect, despite that it is not really “you?” Do you have a “secret” aspect of yourself that you don’t express for fear of being judged, rejected, criticized or unloved?

Only You Suffer
You may feel you are protecting yourself or othe...

About Robin

Robin Berg Like you, I’m on a journey. I’m passionate about learning and strive to transform life’s challenges into learning, so that I can evolve (sometimes ever-so-slowly) into the best version of myself. Like anyone, I’ve had my struggles, be it healing memories from the past, navigating health issues that folded into fertility issues or having a son who has a digestive disease/disorder and the constant vigilance that it requires. And all that I’ve learned I’m devoted to sharing…so that maybe some little tool, or a nugget of insight, or hope might support you in your journey to know your Self, your Soul and step into a life of feeling guided. I always say I “accidentally became spiritual” through practicing yoga. It’s true— it opened something in me that I didn’t know was there and caused me to see things I was formerly completely unaware of. I like it much better. So, for the ups and downs, the glimmers of things useful, I’m open to sharing. Feel free to let me know if something speaks to you. *Note: These past several years I’ve been focused on life as a Mama while maintaining thriving cozy coaching practice. Now, in 2020 I’m gearing up to start sharing and expanding again. Meanwhile feel free to check out posts on instagram @RobinPBerg and Facebook https://www.facebook.com/SoulMoxie/.
