What is Soulful Leadership?

A Brief Intro

Recently I've been focusing a lot on the topic of Soulful Leadership. You may be asking yourself what is it? How is it so different?

Well, here's a little snapshot...

The concept of Soulful Leadership is born of my own journey (and many women I've had the honor of working with 20+ years of coaching.)

These incredible leaders/ leader-types are:
√ Independent thinkers and creative in how they live
√ They are hard workers who often wear multiple "hats"
√ They tend to be nothing short of spectacular (though most are modestly unaware of their "Wow-ness".)

With traditional leadership and success models, many of these women find themselves insatiably hungry for something deeper, more meaningful.

Many are getting depleted and crave inspiration, peace and flow.

Although I suspect lots of people are exploring this topic with their own spin, here's my brief version of Soulful Leadership:

Soulful Leadership allows us to orient around our essential self, drop deeply into who we truly are and translate it into our daily lives and leadership. It gets woven into every choice.

It is about being accessible in a very real way and guiding ourselves and others from a platform of intention and purpose.

Soulful Leadership veers off the traditional path of hierarchy, "working hard(!)", and making decisions exclusively via rational thought.

We unfold into a new model of leadership that is:
√ Sustainable
√ Nourishing
√ Inspired (and inspiring)
√ Inclusive of instincts and intuition for best decisions

We still deliver excellence, but it is in alignment and energy-giving.
