Hello Sister,
fellow Warrioress,
and Human!

Life truly is a journey that demands we evolve along the way. I’m devoted to that journey and continue to discover tools that support me to thrive.

I’m not perfect. I make mistakes. I have setbacks. I have messy days, stressed days as well as delight-filled days. And perhaps, like some of you, I’m still making a post-Covid comeback to daily living. Along the way, I do my best to draw out the learning—to make meaning of the challenges.

Flip through for some quick facts about me:

  • Spiritually-minded HSP (highly sensitive person) living in beautiful Colorado, who is ever-seeking nature, peace, and flow amidst all that life gives us!

  • I've been a professional coach since 1999!

  • I paint from my soul to create large-ish format acrylic paintings and soul portraits.

  • I'm a Yoga instructor (on sabbatical after teaching 14 years).

  • Graduate of SUNY Geneseo, Prescott College, and IIN

  • Mama to a spirited, bright boy who is a professional negotiator in-the-making who also lives (mostly cheerfully) with EoE, a challenging digestive disease

  • Wife to a fabulous, devoted, and hard-working hubby who is a perfect yang to my yin.

  • Meditation teacher to clients and via the Insight Timer app.

My Story

Growing up as a HSP (highly sensitive person) in a “highly stimulating” home, I tried not to rock the boat and became a high-achieving rule follower. Typically accustomed to lots of external feedback, I found myself untethered at college, wanting to do EVERYTHING (with no concept of balance—my first taste of doing too much).

Over time, through athletics and leadership roles, I was drawn more and more to supporting others into their best selves and performance, creating solutions, bringing people together, and birthing new ideas. Sometimes I failed miserably, but it was always rich with learning!

During my higher ed, a few concepts were pivotal, primarily:

  • A “learning through doing” approach

  • Systematized methods to craft lasting change

  • Discovering that we each have our own unique formula to thrive

I am a seeker—a seeker of conscious living, of purpose, of being a life partner, of becoming a parent, an entrepreneur, and a teacher.

The road wasn’t always super smooth.

Thankfully I learned to rely heavily on my intuition and willingness to grow. (As well as how to use my voice and ask for support!)

If my story feels particularly resonant, we might be a good fit for working together!

At 37, I met my husband Todd and a whirlwind year began: meeting, dating, engagement, selling a house, buying/remodeling a house, and getting married! Wow, fun right?

Did my adrenal crash kick in on our honeymoon? You betcha!

Two. Years. To recover.

That was a massive learning moment; it is way too easy to get depleted in today’s work/life culture. I had to find another way. I slowly rebuilt my vitality and evolved my coaching along with it, for the benefit of myself and all driven women leaders.

The first decade of marriage offered a few curveballs, from heart-rending infertility issues, to the diagnoses of our son’s neuro-differences and digestive disease (EoE). It was so complex!

My intuition guided me with steady nudges related to my son’s disease. I refused to accept the “managing symptoms” and “no cure” concepts. I’m a devotee of getting to the Root—that’s where all the magic happens.

And magic can happen while life is throwing things at you: next came early menopause and insomnia (while having a toddler—wheee!) Yet, we made it through. I have immense gratitude for Todd’s patience and support, AND for my rebalancing practices of yoga, meditation, and self-care. It was the birth of a lot of big changes in my coaching work that I still utilize with my clients today!

Getting to the Root opens limitless possibilities. It’s become a key tenet of my life and leadership.

When I notice outmoded patterns in my own life, I seek the Root. Now, my desire to evolve outweighs my resistance to change.

Through my 24 years of coaching amazing women leaders (from emerging to CEO), I’ve learned to trust myself and my inner Wise Woman. In honor of this, I’ve curated the collective learnings into empowering tools to evolve ourselves in Life and Soulful Leadership.

The best part? I know that (in addition to parenting a wondrous boy), THIS is my Deep purpose.

What would your evolution look like?
